This episode of “The Mindy Project” opens with Mindy in post-breakup mode: crying, ordering takeout, and listening to Les Mis. On her way into work, Mindy trips and falls over a parcel belonging to a lawyer in the building named Cliff Gilbert (Glenn Howerton). Danny storms into Jeremy’s office, demanding that he be fired, but Jeremy claims that he’s a good doctor, which Danny observes while he playfully connects with a patient.
