American Idol winner Phillip Phillips is making history with his debut single "Home". Not only has it sold the most copies of any coronation song in Idol's 11 seasons, but with 278,000 copies sold, Phillips now holds the spot for the second-best digital-sales week ever for a contestant. He falls right behind Kelly Clarkson who sold 280,000 downloads in January 2009 with her hit single "My Life Would Suck Without You". That's really impressive on its own, but then when you think of how many times Clarkson's song was played on the radio, it seems even more impressive now. Phillips currently holds the number 2 spot on this week's Digital Songs chart, right after Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe". "Home" has also put the Idol winner at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The last time this happened was back in season 7 when David Cook won with the song "Time Of My Life". We have a feeling this is only the beginning of Phillips' success. Congratulations!
Yesterday during her NYC press rounds, Jessica Sanchez appeared on the morning talk show Good Day NY. There she sat down with hosts Rosanna Scotto and Greg Kelly to talk about everything from her family, her closest friend on American Idol, the judges using the save on her, and if she's crushing on anyone right now. She's precious! Watch the interview below:
On June 11, one of my favorite shows growing up is returning to the air. That's right, the Nickelodeon hit game show Figure It Out is coming back to television. Basically the premise of the show is that contestants come on with a special talent and then the celebrity panel has to guess what that talent is. The celebrity panel changes each episode, but they're always Nickelodeon stars. Back in the day these panelists were made up of "All That" stars like Amanda Bynes, Danny Tamberelli, and Lori Beth Denberg. Now, this will include the likes of iCarly's Jennette McCurdy, Victorious' Victoria Justice, and Big Time Rush's Kendall Schmidt. Remember when Summer Sanders was the host? This time around Brainsurge's Jeff Sutphen will take over that role. Watch the promo for "Figure It Out" below:

As we all know by now, American Idol winner Phillip Phillips suffers from chronic kidney problems. During his time on Idol, he had to undergo eight operations to help correct this problem. His ninth procedure was scheduled for yesterday. However, after coming down with a high fever thanks to a sinus infection, his surgery has been postponed until early next week. Many fans are starting to fear that Phillips will have to miss some of the Idol tour dates to recover from this surgery. In the past, Phillips stated that even with the operation he plans on performing at all of the tour dates this summer. The tour begins July 6 in Detroit. Aww, this guy cannot catch a break. Get well soon Phillip!
Just like all the other American Idol contestants this season, Joshua Ledet stopped by Live With Kelly this morning as part of his NYC press rounds. Kelly Ripa and her guest co-host Martin Short interviewed Ledet on his homecoming visit and his shocking elimination the week before the finale. Ledet even performed the James Brown's hit "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" for the audience. Out of all the songs Joshua sang on Idol, I think that song was my favorite. I loved getting to hear him sing it again this morning. It was also cool because this time, thanks to a much smaller stage and a sole piano, he got to perform a stripped down version of that song. In case you missed his appearance on Live With Kelly this morning, watch it below:
This is adorable! One Direction stopped by the Cadillac Jacks diner in Los Angeles, to surprise a group of lucky fans with an acoustic performance of "What Makes You Beautiful". Fans thought they were going to a private viewing of the guys' Up All Night Live concert DVD. Imagine their surprise when the British heartthrobs walked into the room instead. VEVO filmed the performance as part of their VEVO GO Shows segment. Watch it below:
There's new Justin Bieber music?! Gasp. Earlier this week, the Biebs released his second single titled "Die In Your Arms". This song is off his upcoming album "Believe", which is expected to hit stores June 19. "Die In Your Arms" sounds so different from any of Bieber's previous singles, especially his latest one "Boyfriend". "Boyfriend" has a clear R&B vibe, while this song takes a different route. Well, we like it. It's a fun summer song, that I'm sure will turn into another huge radio hit. If you haven't listened to "Die In Your Arms" yet, get your first listen below:
This morning, One Direction sat down for an interview with The Today Show's contributing corespondent Jenna Bush Hager. She talked to the British boy band about their quick rise to the top of the charts, their new book "Dare To Dream", and of course their love lives. These guys are so charming, it's no surprise they became an overnight success here in the United States. In case you missed the interview this morning, watch it below:

This morning, American Idol runner up Jessica Sanchez appeared on the morning talk show Live With Kelly. She sat down with Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Ed Robertson, from the band Barenaked Ladies, to talk about her experience on the show and even sing a song for the audience. For being only 16, Sanchez has such poise and confidence. It's really remarkable. Watch her interview and performance of "I Will Always Love You" below:

As part of his press tour, Phillip Phillips appeared on The Billy Bush Show yesterday. Bush talked to the current American Idol winner about everything from his reaction to winning, his kidney situation, and even the kiss his girlfriend planted on him at the finale. I love that in almost every interview P2 does, the interviewer mentions how sweet and humble he is. Is it summer yet? I can't wait to see this guy live. Watch the interview below:
Last night, Phillip Phillips appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Now that he's the American Idol winner, it's time for him to make his way around the press line. Phillips sat down with Leno to talk about how he celebrated his win, his upcoming kidney surgery, and the American Idol tour this summer. I cannot stress enough how precious Phil is. He's so humble, which is rare in the media business nowadays. But that's part of what makes Phillip so endearing and why America fell in love with him. Check out the interview below:

Last night, 21-year-old Phillip Phillips came out victorious over Jessica Sanchez on American Idol season 11. Throughout the season, he's been a favorite, pumping out one great performance after the other. With his sweet, southern charm he captured hearts all over America. Watch the video below to see Phillip win the competition and sing his coronation song "Home". I don't know about everyone else, but there's something sexy about a guy who's not afraid to show his emotions. Seeing him breakdown during "Home" was adorable. I'm so happy that he pulled out the win this season!
Hot off his win as American Idol, Phillip Phillips sat down immediately after the finale with Ryan Seacrest for an interview. They talked about everything from Phillips' girlfriend, his reaction to winning the competition, and even Seacrest's eyes. I love how you can tell that Ryan genuinely likes and respects Phillip. Maybe it's the Georgian connection. Watch the interview below:
Last night, a new American Idol was crowned. Georgia native Phillip Phillips took home the title and we could not be any happier. He has been our favorite ever since his audition aired back in January. Actually, it feels pretty surreal to have our favorite win. The only time this has ever happened was back in season eight with Kris Allen. Phillip has continued to impress us week after week. Even though he's so talented, he still stays so humble. Phillip without a doubt deserved every bit of this win. After the finale, Phillip was thrown right into press. Watch his interview below with Fox All Access backstage at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles:
Yesterday we posted a behind-the-scenes look at Stefano's music video for his debut single "I'm on a Roll". Well today, he released the video in its entirety. This video completely captures the essence of this song. It starts out with Stefano down on his luck, but with a quick twist everything starts going his way. This song features Ben J from the New Boyz, who makes an appearance in the video. Another cameo we couldn't help but notice was Casey Abrams from Stefano's season of Idol. Watch the music video for "I'm on a Roll" below:

Tonight's the night! With only two contestants left in the competition, it's time to crown the American Idol winner. This has been quite the season. Everyone is so incredibly talented and brings something completely different to the table. So what went down tonight? Did 16-year-old powerhouse Jessica Sanchez take the title? Or was it Phillip Phillips? Find out below:
Remember Stefano Langone from last season's American Idol? Of course you do. Well now he's signed to Hollywood Records. This is a big deal. He's part of the label that hosts Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Miley Cyrus to name a few. He's got a catchy debut single called "I'm On A Roll", which you may recall him performing on American Idol a couple weeks back. He's getting ready to release the music video for the song. Check out this behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video below:
Justin Bieber is hitting the road this fall on his highly anticipated "Believe" tour. The 45-city tour kicks off in Glendale, Ariz. on Sept. 29 and wraps up in Miami on Jan. 26. Fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen, known for her incredibly catchy hit song "Call Me Maybe", will be opening up for Bieber. Tickets go on sale June 1 for the Canadian dates, and June 2 for United States dates. Check out the full list of tour dates below:
Uh oh! It looks like Smash is going to be making some big changes to its cast this fall. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that four regulars from season one will not be returning for season two. The show also has plans to add three more characters into the mix in this upcoming season. Get the details below:

Tonight was the season finale of Dancing With The Stars. With only three couples left in the competition, it all came down to tonight. This has been one of the strongest seasons of the show, and it easily was anyone's game to win. Who came out on top to land the coveted mirror ball trophy? Who fell just short of the championship? Find out below:

Oh no! We hate reading about the pain Phillip Phillips has been in during his run on American Idol. According to TMZ, his problems may have gotten worse as his doctor has urged him to undergo surgery as soon as the show is over. The recovery time would have his missing tour rehearsals and possibly some shows. I can see him missing some rehearsals but hopefully he's feeling better by the time the tour kicks off this Summer.
It's almost time to say Goodbye as Glee's season finale draws closer. Some favorites may be leaving and that choir room will never be the same again. In this sneak peek, the cast is really feeling it and many have to wipe their eyes on set. Who or what will you miss the most next season?
It's that time of year again when Teens get together to vote for their favorites and give them a surf board. The 2012 Teen Choice Awards will air on FOX on June 22nd. American Idol, The Vampire Diaries, and Pretty Little Liars lead the nominations.

The season finale of Person of Interest, Firewall, definitely lived up to the hype. The episode was intense, action packed, and had me on the edge of my seat right up until the final moments. A Prettier-Than-Fusco psychologist is the Person of Interest this week. I like her immediately because she can read Reese like a book and I can tell it rattles him. Has he finally met his match?

Every now and then on American Idol you come across a performance that stands out far above anything else performed throughout the season. Last night, Phillip Phillips had one of those moments with Bob Seger's "We've Got Tonight". It was so vulnerable and moving, completely blowing us away. Phil has this ability to bring such an incredible soul and feeling to everything he sings. He brings the lyrics to life, while coming across so genuine. Sure, Jessica Sanchez and Joshua Ledet have these amazing, over-the-top, powering voices, but sometimes simpler is better. That's what Phillip proved last night when he laid his heart bare to everyone to sing this beautiful number. Watch P2 sing "We've Got Tonight" below:
Last week we posted that a certain JoBro was going to be punking one of Good Morning America's correspondents. Today, GMA aired the segment which featured Nick Jonas giving Josh Elliott the interview from hell. Lara Spencer was the mastermind behind all of this, teaming up with Nick and Punk'd star Andrew Santino to pull off this prank on her co-worker. The idea for the prank is that Elliott brings up a made up controversy from Nick's past, one where he stole a song from an artist on YouTube. This sends Nick into a temper tantrum. What's so great about this is that Nick is always so calm and reserved, hence his nickname of Mr. President. It's mind blowing to see this side of him, even if it's just for cameras. Watch Josh Elliott get Punk'd below:

With next week's season finale, tonight Dancing With The Stars eliminated one more couple. Now there's only three dance teams left battling in the finals. The teams are so strong this season and it's really anyone's game to win. Find out who went home tonight below:

The season finale of Once Upon A Time features a slew of familiar faces while the clock is ticking for Henry. The Fairy Tale counterpart of this episode was actually pretty unnecessary and I actually feel like we've seen the scenes before. Maybe I've just seen Charming rescue Snow enough times to last.
It's finally here! A full length trailer for the fifth season of True Blood. The clip is insane. So much is shown and it goes by so fast. I don't think I comprehended it all. But I did see lots of Chris Meloni and Steve Newlin enjoying his time as a vampire. The new season looks great. I can't wait. I am so ready for some Sookie and Alcide.
Watch the full length trailer video for season 5 of True Blood here:
Tonight is the season finale of Once Upon A Time. I can't believe the season is ending! What sort of cliffhanger or game changer will the writers through at us a few hours from now? I don't know about you, but we can't wait to see! If you're a little impatient, here are a few sneak peek videos at tonight's season finale: A Land Without Magic. Will Henry be okay? Will the curse be broken?
The season finale of Person of Interest looks action packed! Why does Harold look so terrified? Will Carter and Lionel finally have to team up to help their mutual friend? Will John finally be captured? Here is an extended preview promo of next week's season finale of Person of Interest: Firewall.
Yesterday Phillip Phillips performed a concert in his hometown of Leesburg, GA as part of his American Idol visit. Just from looking at pictures of this event, he got a great turnout. One of the songs he sang was Damien Rice's "Volcano" which landed him rave reviews when he sang it on the show. We love Phil's version of this song. Even without the dark lighting and female singer, Phil was still able to bring that same great haunting feeling to "Volcano". Great job P2! Watch it below:
Ugh. Last week, Blink 182 announced that they had to drop out of the Bamboozle Festival's lineup because of drummer Travis Barker’s emergency tonsillectomy. The band was set to play the second night of the festival, which is May 19th. This is such a bummer. We were really looking forward to seeing them. But the bright side of all this? My Chemical Romance is taking their place. MCR headlined both 2005 and 2007's Bamboozle so they're pros of all this by now. To get pumped for this new addition to the three day music festival, watch My Chemical Romance's video for "Sing" below:
One of our favorite songs out right now is Maroon 5's "Payphone" featuring Wiz Khalifa. This number is so catchy. Really can Maroon 5 do any wrong at this point? We didn't think so. Every single song they churn out automatically becomes a huge hit. Adam Levine is unstoppable between being frontman of Maroon 5 and his gig as a judge on The Voice. We don't mind though. He is one good looking dude. Watch the video for "Payphone" below:

When Mark Salling decided to celebrate his break from Glee, he chose to shave his (not so) beloved mohawk. Only one problem. Tan lines! After we focus in on the shirtless picture of the star, we notice how much his head looks like a Neapolitan Klondike bar. I think it's time to invest in a hat buddy. I don't need a symbol barcode scanner to tell me this picture is priceless.
From Law and Order: SVU to Bon Temps Louisiana. Chris Meloni is making his debut as a vampire on the upcoming season of True Blood. He will be playing Roman, an ancient, powerful, vampire of The Authority. Check out this first look at Chris with his fangs in this video sneak peek.
It's that time of the season. Season finales and shocking deaths and cliffhangers are invading our TV schedules. What's worse, not all of our favorites will be returning for another season. Some will, however, and we've got the list of what shows received renewals and which received cancellations this week. We'll continue to update as news comes out. Which of your shows made the cut?
What can you do with that extra change or cash this month? What could give you a greater feeling than helping or donating to adopt an endangered species? Or visiting a local shelter to donate or adopt? There are so many ways to get involved. In fact, I symbolically adopted a koala from the Port Macquarie koala animal hospital in Australia through their Adopt A Wild Koala Program. The WWF has over 100 species you can help on their website as well! All proceeds go to their global effort of helping the environment and wildlife. Sterkly pride adopted a pride of lions! Take some time and think about donating to any of these, or one of your own, great causes. Wildlife is such a gift we should always protect!
It's homecoming weekend for the top 3 on Season 11 of American Idol! Phillip Phillips was not only greeted by fans at the airport when he arrived, but also gave his first interview with FOX 31 there. The celebration was a big one today and included a parade, a trip to his father's pawn shop, and a free concert where Phillip performed Superstition, Still Rainin', Nice and Slow, Thriller, Volcano, and Along The Watchtower. Is this a sneak peek at this setlist for the Idols Live Tour?
After a slew of renewals and cancellations this week among the networks, ABC has ordered a whopping ten new series to their lineup. The star studded casts include Reba McEntire, Max Adler, Vanessa Williams, Terry O'Quinn, Sarah Chalke, and a whole lot more. We have the episode descriptions for each of the series under the cut. Which ones interest you? Will you be tuning in to any of them? How many will be cancelled after only one season? Here's hoping a new drama captivates audiences like LOST did.
We don't blame Victoria's Secret one bit for naming the cast of Pretty Little Liars the sexiest of 2012. I mean, have you seen this cast? They're all gorgeous. The honor was a part of Victoria's Secret annual What's Sexy list and Ashley Benson snagged an honor of her own. She was named Sexiest Summer Hair. The cast attended the event this week to accept the trophy.
Carrie Preston and Michael Emerson are too cute for words. Definitely my favorite celebrity couple. And look! Chumley is with them too. These are some adorable behind the scenes pictures from Carrie's guest stint on this week's episode of Person of Interest. 'No Good Deed' revealed that she Finch's fiancee. Keep reading to hear what Carrie has to say about possibly returning to the show next season!
Yesterday, Phillip Phillips got the news that he had made it into the final three on American Idol. All Idol fans know this means one thing: hometown visits! In case you're unfamiliar with this, basically the contestants return home and are treated as royalty, right down to a huge parade in their honor. Today Phil arrived in his hometown of Leesburg, Georgia. Watch the video below of Phillip being welcomed home by his legions of fans at the airport:

Any Sex and the City fans out there? The CW has officially picked up the Sex and the City prequel series The Carrie Diaries. The show will star AnnaSophia Robb and chronicle the life of Carrie Bradshaw before she met Mr. Big and had it all.
Oh, Glee. Something always seems to get in the way for the New Directions when it comes to Nationals. Or any other major competition for that matter. So what's the problem this year? Someone is getting sick! They even need to be replaced when it comes time to get on stage.
I think at this point, it's safe to say I will watch anything that Simon Pegg is in. Following in the steps of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and Edgar Wright are teaming up for The World's End. I wonder how many cornettos will be in this one? Here is the official synopsis for The World's End.
Oh Nick Jonas, I adore you. Next week on Good Morning America, things are going to get crazy. Nick is punking one of the GMA anchors. Yes, that's right. The creators of Punk'd are bringing the shenanigans we know and love to morning television. Check out the preview below:
