Sad news if you were a fan of either Steven Tyler or Jennifer Lopez on American Idol. It looks like both of their chairs at the judges table will be empty when the reality show returns. Steven Tyler recently gave his statement on why he's deciding to focus more on his music and it looks like Jennifer is doing the same. AKA they got the publicity they needed from the show.
Jennifer was on Ryan Seacrest's radio show and confirmed what has already been suspected.

She's quitting because she can't carry that show. She got lucky with some bubble-crap pop... I assume that's the "meaningful work" she has to get back to? Forty years later, and people still listen to Led Zepplin, it's been a mere fraction of that time, does ANYONE give a crap about J-lo's music?? Her most notable mark is arriving almost nude to the grammys. Her other "work" is forgettable.
