Bay walks in on some heartbreaking news. Daphne and Regina are watching the news and see that a helicopter from Ty’s group crashed and the soldiers inside have been killed. No one knows if Ty is inside and the entire family is on edge waiting for news.
Throughout all of this, Emmett is pissed because he realizes Bay has kept in touch with Ty. Because exchanging emails is basically cheating and a legit reason to be jealous. Can she not have friends that are guys? What is his problem? I’m getting kind of over him lately. He’s so pissy about the whole thing that he drops out of his speech therapy class. What a wiener.
Fortunately, Ty is okay. He wasn’t in the crash. He even calls Bay to let her know. I missed the actor on this show. He’s off playing Lying Games. Bay gives in to her love for Emmett (even though he demands to read the emails she sends Ty) and tells Ty she’s seeing someone else. I didn’t realize he thought she was waiting for him. Part of me wants them to get back together now.
Daphne and Wilkie are also having some trouble. Wilkie has so far refused to learn or take sign language seriously. He’s more interested in making out. Daphne runs into a rude kid at Carlton who enjoys talking down to her for moving on to live a posh life with hearing people. When Daphne gets him fired from his job at the school, she feels guilty and hooks him up with one at John’s car wash. John fires him immediately for flipping off a customer. Daphne goes to visit him at his home and sees his family life pretty much sucks. No one in his family has bothered to learn sign language and basically don’t communicate with him. Will there be a love interest here in the future?
There’s just trouble in paradise all around. Are John and Kathryn next? Am I sensing something between Kathryn and the lawyer? Kathryn learns that Angelo got his information on the hospital from a reliable source. Who is the source?
Uhoh. Did Jenna finally have her eye surgery? What does this mean for the girls? Will Jenna be even more dangerous if she can see? Here are both the Canadian and American promos to preview next week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars: Eye of the Beholder.

Nick Jonas guest stars on this week’s new episode of Smash. A multi-millionaire child star who just so happens to be good friends with Derek. Not quite as good as he is with Ivy. And Karen is just realizing just how close the two of them are. Unfortunately for her, she’s going to have to get ahead in this business on her own.
It makes it a bit harder when no one in the ensemble will welcome her or help her learn the ropes. Karen struggles to fit in during the workshop rehearsals but Ivy continues to have her removed from performances. She just stands out too much and is obvious competition for Ivy. I don’t know why Ivy has no confidence. She is still, in my opinion, the better Marilyn.
The dancers eventually turn to help Karen make a splash in the right way. They help her with clothes, dancing, and her performing with a group. It leads to them singing and dancing to Adele in a bar where..Karen sings and dances lead. Wasn’t the point supposed to be that she wasn’t to outshine the others?
Derek throws a big party for Lyle, the rich, talented star. Eileen sets her eyes on him immediately to alleviate her money troubles. This kid has so much money he doesn’t know what to do with it all. She has a painting worth hundreds of thousands but her ex husband’s name is on the receipt. She can’t sell it to anyone else. Lyle agrees to help her out if she can prove to him that their show will be a hit. Michael, Ivy, and Julia put on a performance with one of the songs from the show and it’s great. Finally, a catchy song from this thing.
Ivy notices Derek chatting up another girl at the party so she agrees to a tour of the bedrooms with Lyle. Um. Ew. How old is he? Is he even legal? At least he can sing Michael Buble. Derek doesn’t back down and clings to his right to flirt as long as it can lead to an investment in his show. Classy.
The girls are anxious to put the A blame on someone new. Now that Melissa is the prime suspect (ugh) they can’t wait to find out answers. Spencer is doing everything she can to prove that what Melissa is telling her is true. Aria, remember when your brother was a suspect? Have a little compassion. Melissa tells Spencer that she’s worried she may have told Garrett too much. She confided in him after Ian’s funeral about not believing he could have done it. What does Garrett know?
Emily’s father is back in town for Rosewood’s annual Father-Daughter dance. This town has a lot of dances. Emily wastes her time with her dad by worrying and looking for Maya. All she is able to uncover is that she bought a ticket at a bus station but left in a dark car. Is Maya A? Who cares? Good riddance Maya. Emily has a missed call from her but should really be paying attention to the fact that her dad is being redeployed again. Man, he has to leave a lot. I feel like this is the fourth time. Dude should retire.
Hanna spots Ashley and Wilden talking together in his car and worries that they’re dating again. Ashley tells Hanna the truth. That she wants answers about who is threatening her with the police report. Wilden tells Ashley to get Hanna’s phone so they can find out who it is so Hanna hurls her phone into a sink full of water. Mona tells the girls to use the best liar of the group to fool Ashley. Aria goes to her and tells her that she is A and sent Hanna the report to scare her out of shoplifting again. Ashley has brains and isn’t buying what they’re selling. She chats with Ella about not wanting to wait around to find answers anymore. I am now a little worried about Hanna’s mom.
Jonah calls the girls to let them know that Ali was receiving texts from more than one number. The second leads them to a doll store. When Aria walks near it in a red coat, some guy mistakes her for Vivian.
Spencer is not only worried about her sister, but her father. She goes snooping in her father’s office and finds a receipt for a check written out to cash for 15 thousand dollars. The same amount that Alison has stashed away. She confronts her father angrily about lying to her but he tells her what it was actually for. He hired a private investigator with the money to follow Alison. Spencer assumed it was because he wanted to give Jason an alibi. Jason wasn’t the child he was worried about. He was worried about Melissa. He knew she had been threatening Ali and wanted to keep her safe. Well the town just got a little less safe. Spencer’s dad realizes that the gun from his desk has been stolen.
Who has it? Who are they gonna use it on??
Have you heard The Good Mad? Well, you need to. The Good Mad are a refreshing twist on Folksy-Country music. They themselves describe their sound as “folk/americana to disco or indie or something.” It’s hard to put them in a box but, some of the best music around can’t be defined. Fans may recognize the band from their recent appearances on ABC Family’s The Lying Game. Band member Allie Gonino can also be seen as a regular on the show. Their latest songs Stepping Stone, Follow Your Heart, and What Money Paid for aren’t to be missed. So check them out below! Let us know what you think.

I personally love anytime the violin kicks in. It sounds so beautiful and controlled.
Be sure to follow the band on twitter and check out their website for info on purchasing their music on Itunes!
